Dr Jill Hanson, Associate Professor (Inclusive Education).
Jill has worked in Higher and Further Education for over 25 years. She has a PhD in occupational and health psychology, a PGCert in business coaching and a first class honours degree in psychology. She is a Chartered Psychologist (Division of Researchers and Teachers) and is a Fellow of Advance HE. Jill has expertise in teaching, learning and assessment, widening access and participation, evaluation, research and Theory of Change. In particular Jill has significant expertise in working with quantitative data to demonstrate impact. She has led many cross- institute programmes to enhance student outcomes including hyper-personalised transition programmes, personal academic mentoring, student enrichment and skills development, student charters and manifestos, APPs and TEF. She has significant experience in benchmarking compliance with the A and B OfS conditions of registration. She has successfully implemented inclusion frameworks, built CPD to develop inclusive practices and is an expert in inclusive pedagogies.
